You know the Caribbean, you know Las Terrenas, you would like to discover places that Columbus discovered and liked !
In fact, this is quite close from las Terrenas , but not very well known.
The city of « Cap Haitien », the « Paris » of the Caribbean, and the village of Labadie,
you can discover those historic places staying comfortably at « Habitation Eden Roc » (5 rooms +bath en suite), right on the beach at paradise bay. You are at the end of the world, with solar power, rain water stored in a tank, Internet by satellite.
An excellent cook prepares for you lobsters fished near by, the boat and its captain will take you to Amiga island, to swim and think, in this magical place at what Columbus felt, when there with his Taino girlfriend…..
Comfort is perfect, and the view from the house is unbelievable, on Paradise Bay, with Tortuga island in the background.
You can also climb to the Citadelle of king Christopher, visiting as well the nearby castle « Sans Soucis »
You should only take the « Caribe Tours » bus to Cap Haitien, from Santiago or Santo Domingo, and in Cap Haitien, you are expected, and driven to Labadie where the boat from Habitation Eden Roc waits for you.
And the discovery of paradise begins, the bay is deep, at the end, a white sand beach and at your left, nested in the jungle, Habitation Eden Roc, you arrive at the dock in stone, protected by a 16th century gun, probably lost a few centuries ago by a pirate, and dug out of the sea a few years ago !
The house, that you discover, after climbing a few steps is built around a large covered terrasse, the living room and the dining room, and there are 5 double rooms with bath en suite.
A welcome drink is there, and later, Tidane, your cook, will serve you lobsters for dinner.
Melik, your boat captain, will come to propose boat tours for the next day, to enable you to discover the beauty of this magnificent lagoon.

One should add , 80 usd for transportation from Cap Haitien to Labadie and back, and 30 usd for boat gasoline every 2 days.
